Why We Bottle By Hand

We have been asked, more than once, why we still bottle by hand. The honest answer is that a labelling line would cost less than the people who do the work. But that is not the point.

Every bottle is signed

Each AK bottle carries a batch number and a hand written cap. That is a person putting their name to a product. It is also a quality check. If something is wrong, we see it before you do.

We will grow. We will buy bigger equipment. But we will not buy a machine that hides the hands of the people who make this. That is the line we drew on day one, and it has not moved.
